• We only produce products that work. How do we secure that? The best active ingredients are of no use if they don't get deep into the skin at the right places. That is why we encapsulate many of our active ingredients liposomal and provide our smart combinations with transmitters. This brings the active ingredients much deeper into the different layers of your skin, exactly where they can develop their full strength.
• Preservatives are important to maintain the stability and safety of the products. But in order to use as little of it as possible, we use airless packaging for several products for our leave on products. This allows us to use a very low dose and a very well tolerated preservative.

The 'Treasures of Youth' collection is based on a unique and effective combination of precious spherical gold crystals to which the short-chain hyaluronic acid molecules are attached to, pure liposomal encapsulated Swiss glacier water, and rare edelweiss extract, which is captured for elline at a height of over 1500 meters in the Swiss Alps. Together with other carefully selected essences and innovative active agent complexes, these ingredients complete our inimitable formulations. These formulations care for and nourish the skin at its core, support revitalisation processes, improve the skin's natural protective functions, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin imperfections.

To be honest there is nothing to choose, full in your favour. Because our customers' wellbeing is important to us, elline Switzerland does not incur any shipping costs and all orders are sent out as worldwide express deliveries. Orders received before 2 p.m. CET will be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following business day.

Yes, wherever you live you will get your order for free, we will never charge any shipping costs. Depending on your country there might be some additional local taxes might apply. Read below Taxes and Invoice and / or feel free to contact our Customer Service at info@elline-switzerland.com.

You will receive an order confirmation email to the email address indicated on the order form. The email will contain a confirmation, summary of the order and a tracking code.

All orders sent outside of Europa are shipped on a DDU (delivered duty unpaid) basis. In some countries, additional local import charges and/or duties will apply. If a ROW (DDU, Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination is selected, you can enter the corresponding VAT discount code which will deduct all the taxes from your order (shown at the Checkout). The product price is then displayed exclusive of all taxes and duties.

As the recipient of the DDU delivery, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival (which is the normal procedure). Unfortunately, we are unable to advise the exact amount this may be as these charges are not determined or executed by us, they are local government charges and the individual ROW customer making the purchase is responsible per transaction for these costs.

elline Switzerland does not do any animal testing in the manufacture, development or quality control of its products, nor does it commission such testing. The company is and will always be fundamentally opposed to the use of animal testing. For this reason, we are also an official member of the PETA Cruelty-Free program.

Yes. As we believe in the strength of our products, we want them to be usable for everyone, which lead us to get the official Halal Certification from two different certification bodies, HIA (Halal International Authority) and HCS (Halal Certification Service).

Interesting fact: In order to get these certification, enormously high cleaning and purity standards must be achieved for the whole production process, whereby the production requirements for all the elline Switzerland products might be among the highest ones worldwide. What does halal mean? Halal is an Arabic term that describes objects and actions that are in accordance with Islamic laws. For cosmetic products the production process is subject to very strict hygiene regulations and any kind of animal-derived ingredients are strictly forbidden. In addition, machines that have previously used animal ingredients may not be used for the production.

Yes, none of our products contains any GMO.

No. Companies must use preservatives in any cosmetic product that contains water to prevent the product from becoming adulterated; preservatives are needed for safety and performance.

elline Switzerland screens every ingredient for safety in any aspect. We look for data on important health endpoints like cell damage, skin irritation, cancer and many other harmful effects. One of the toughest kinds of ingredients to screen is preservatives. Because they are meant to kill bacteria and mould, which means they also may be toxic in some concentrations to other life forms.

While formulating our skincare line, we tested several types of before settling on the preservatives that one we are using now. We have chosen a very safe and well-researched high-quality preservative which is effective in very small concentration and which has on top of its preservative property a moisturizing effect on the skin. On the ingredient safety platform Codecheck our preservative is classified in the best possible category.

We use the smallest amount of preservatives that can get the job done, which is made possible by our airless packaging.

We do not follow a rigid path with only one goal, we want to develop the best products holistically. A minimal dose of dimethicone is necessary to ensure clean absorption behaviour. In this area too, we tried to find the best solution for you with the currently scientifically available possibilities. Dimethicone is a linear silicone that we use primarily to enhance the texture and spreadability of our cremes on the skin, but only in an absolute minimal dose. Rigorous scientific analyses have shown no evidence of toxicity to humans, as it is a large molecule that sits on the skin (rather than being absorbed). After reviewing a comprehensive toxicological review of the ingredient (which elline commissioned before using an ingredient), we believe it is safe for use in this minimal dose in our products. But also in this regard we strive to continue researching and improving ourselves.

We do not actively add BHT to any of our products, not today or in the future.

Only the Luxe Day Cream SPF 30 contains a tiny fraction of BHT (0.007%), which is an antioxidant from the well-researched and high-quality sun protection filter, which is essential for its effectiveness.

At this point, protecting your skin from UVA and UVB rays damage was more important to us than the minimum dose of BHT - we do not make decisions based on rigid guidelines, but always choose the best solution for our customers. As soon as a sun protection filter has been developed that protects the skin just as well as our current one, and does not contain BHT, we will replace it.

Yes, for some of them in a minimal dose but without any potent allergens because the safety and compatibility of our products is one of our top priorities. No parfum is used in the Instant Eye Lift and the 24k Lifting Serum.

Our product development team who has more than 30 years of experience is an expert in this area and has already worked on sun protection systems for several large pharmaceutical companies. For a product with SPF, the protection of your skin is our top priority, and we do not want to and will not compromise on your safety. Because of the very good test results regarding the skin protection and the great absorption behaviour despite the SPF of 30, we decided on this chemical filter.

Some people asked us why we don’t use a filter on nano basis? Because nano filter may work great but they create fine dust pollution which remains in the body, what has a harmful effect on the human body (only liquid particles dissolve).

Some people asked us why we don’t use a zinc oxide filter? It’s true, there are sun protection filters on a zinc oxide basis, but unfortunately, they are not stable, especially not with a high dose of complex active ingredients and therefore is not suitable for a premium skincare product. Some people asked us why we don’t protect the skin from sun rays with a filter consisting of pigments? From our point of view, filters made from pigments are not an option for as, they close the skin which impairs important functions of the skin.

We assure you that our research is ongoing, but it’s much better for the skin to use a protective chemical filter than to risk a harmful sunburn. Sunburns expose the overproduction of certain proteins as a defensive response from the skin which leads to pain and itchiness. That’s why many completely natural cosmetics brands often also use chemical filters for their products with SPF.

Palm oil is the most used and demanded vegetable oil in the world. Palm oil and its derivatives are commonly used in the beauty industry because its fatty acid structures are unique. Unfortunately, there is currently no comparable replacement. elline does not use palm oil in its pure form. However, palm oil forms the basis for a variety of substances.

Experts have said that the problem isn’t palm oil itself, but the irresponsible sourcing of palm oil which leads to deforestation; so we’re working towards sourcing 100% physically certified sustainable palm oil derivates for our next product development stage. We believe the solution is to join the movement to push the palm oil industry to utilize more sustainable practices.

We obtain the raw materials for elline products from selected, premium raw material suppliers. Unfortunately, the ingredients concerned are not (at least at the present time) all available on the basis of certified palm oil. Since every exchange of a single ingredient with a certified variant would require that the entire recipe of the product be rebuilt, we unfortunately have to do without having a sustainable certification for all the palm oil derivates it at the moment. However, when new elline are developed or current products get updated, we will only work with certified palm oil derivates from now on.

All our products have been designed and formulated to not clog pores or irritate the skin but still be effective on the most sensitive skin. We have all our products thoroughly tested by third-party companies to ensure that they pass the industry standards for skin/eye irritation and sensitization potential.

All products have been granted – as a badge of quality - the highest vegan certification and, most importantly, they are manufactured without prior animal testing, and elline’s products are also free of all GMOs, parabens, PEGs, synthetic dyes, harmful preservatives, and sulphates. They are dermatologically tested; halal certified, and they meet the highest Swiss production standards. This makes elline Switzerland the first premium skincare brand to combine highly effective skincare with the strictest purity criteria and Swiss quality standards.

Neither purely organic, nor purely vegan or purely chemical: this is clinical-clean beauty, the third track that we have been eagerly waiting for. Products that contain fewer or no questionable ingredients. In all our formulations, ingredients that are suspected of endangering health or whose safety is not fully documented are completely dispensed with or only used in small quantities where it makes sense to do so.

Worldwide, the cosmetic laws are unfortunately very spongy, outdated and very different, which leads to the fact that many of effective but harmful ingredients end in cosmetic products.

In the European Union, approximately 1,300 ingredients are not allowed to be used for cosmetics, in the United States there are only 30. This is obviously not enough, as they are hundreds of thousands of ingredients available.

There are well over 20’000 different ingredients / chemicals commonly found in personal care products. But only 10% of those chemicals have safety data.

But to avoid any possible risk we would recommend not to use the Luxe Day Cream SPF 30 during the pregnancy because of the sun protection filter, as the essentials of sun protections filters are ingredient that some women prefer to avoid during this time. We would recommend consulting with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

We want to you be happy with your purchase from elline Switzerland. You have the right to change your mind, end the contract and receive a refund up to the end of 30 days after you (or someone you nominate) received the products. However, you do not have a right to change your mind in respect of products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, once these products are unsealed after you receive them.

To exercise your right of cancellation before the Goods have been delivered to you, you must contact us, giving details of the Goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery via info@elline-switzerland.com. You will be responsible for returning the Goods in their original packaging, complete with all labels, protective covers and boxes, and in particular the crystal film covering the box must still be sealed, together with the original invoice. In order to receive your refund, you must return the Products to us as soon as reasonably possible. You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the product. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days.

We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the Goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop.
